TENS - Kalium-Natrium Balancing

TENS devices are often used by physiotherapists. These devices are mainly used to relieve pain or make pain more comfortable. TENS devices are equally effective to achieve a dep state of relaxation.

The device sends small bursts of electricity pulses through the spinal cord, that help the muscles to relax, helps to relieve pain and stimulate rest and relaxation. The device is suitable for everybody, apart from people who have a pacemaker or have steel plates and bolts in their body. The device gives a very small amount of electric pulses through 2 pads placed on the body, in order to stimulate muscles and nerves. The device also helps to restore the balance between kalium and natrium. Both chemicals are responsible for the balance in body fluids (mainly water) that we take in or expel. The function and usage of this TENS device is easy, the installation of the device can be done in seconds. However, this doesn't mean that the functions of this device are therefore less effective.

The entire session with the TENS device lasts for a mere 15 minutes in duration, but is very relaxing. This device and it's function is not very well known, but offers a lot in return once you get to know it's benefits. It's a device that we wish to promote, because of it's multiple uses and various benefits and because it's so unknown to people, while it's uses and benefits are very good.

This device works very well to relieve stress, pain and relieve symptoms for diseases like fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, (lower) back pain, hernia, torn muscles, symptoms of MS (Multiple Sclerosis), tendinitis, arthritis, complaints caused by intens periods of stress or illnesses caused by an overload of stress. But it can also be used for rest and relaxation.

The pads are placed on the spinal cord and the device works for exactly 15 minutes with varying electric currents and frequencies. Weekly treatment gives very good results and it can be applied up to 2 times a week for good results. A session with only this device is possible, but it can also be combined and used together with the butterfly massage. It's then used before or after the massage. It can be used with another form of massage as well if requested.

Foot Reflexology

Founder William H. Fitzgerald - an American surgeon discovered this method of healing in 1913. The basics for this therapy by the surgeon were by dividing the body into 10 different zones, from the head until the feet. According to his theory, each sick area or sick organ in the body has an influence on all (surrounding) organs.

The basic principle of foot reflexology is that the feet form an entire representation of the human body in the form of reflex zones. These zones correspond with certain parts of the human body or specific organs. By massaging these reflex zones, a state of inner peace and relaxation is encouraged and achieved. The homeostasis that is being achieved this way stimulates the self healing powers of the body. Apart from that, it also accelerates detoxification and relieves blockages.

It's a form of massage that helps with pain in the body or emotional pain and complaints caused by them, stress, disbalances or exhaustion.
The goal of foot reflexologie lies in working towards less body pains and illnesses or even taking them away completely.
